Non-delivery after PayPal Friends & Family payment on Vinted – Is it a criminal offense?
I have a legal question related to a hypothetical scenario: Suppose someone purchases a piece of clothing on Vinted from a seller who only accepts payments via PayPal Friends & Family. The buyer makes the payment, but the seller doesn't ship the item and may ship a different one or nothing at all.
In this thought experiment, I'm interested in the extent to which the seller could be legally liable in such a situation, especially in light of the PayPal Friends & Family payment. What legal consequences could the buyer consider in such a hypothetical scenario?

The seller commits Fraud and fraud is a Crime.
The seller is a criminal.
The “friend payment” of the buyer makes the seller the fraud easy, but that does not change the fact that the seller has committed fraud (=> offence).
The buyer can reimburse a criminal complaint with the aim that the fraudulent seller is prosecuted.
No matter how successful this is in the end, such a criminal complaint makes a lot of sense not to give the fraudster the impression that he can cheat without thinking without having to follow consequences.
The money the buyer does not get back on this way. In addition, he would have to prosecute this in civil law.
Hi, at Vinted there is often a buyer protection from those. Costs 1.30€ and I always think I’m calculated(at least I’ve always been like this) Then it should not matter if Paypal Friends or not
