Depends on the accommodation. For $1000 the night in a better (but not super luxury) hotel up to B&B in Jersey or Brooklyn for $100 everything is in it.

I advise you on package tours.

First, these are either very simple hotels in a bad location or they don’t know where you’re going.

If you book airbnb, you will know exactly what you will get. Where is the next subway, look at the surroundings with Street Maps. It doesn’t have to be Manhattan if the subway around the corner is the property can be a little outside half the price also acceptable.

Second: On a flat-rate trip you will sign a contract for the entire trip. What comes in between is a large part of the total travel price lost. Bay one separate, usually only the flight is lost. Accommodation can also be booked a few weeks before, on flights you save when you book long in advance (and paid). Travel cancellation cost insurance pay (almost) never …

So a friend of mine was in New York a few months ago. Flight and accommodation together were only 700 Eur.
The accommodation was in New Jersey (apparently 20 minutes walk to New York) and what was breakfast at the accommodation.

Otherwise look at Tui. Here you will find beautiful vacations at a good price where the flight is already included.

This will certainly be a little cheaper if you are, for example, somewhat flexible with the date, and you might be able to find even cheaper flights, or you might. with some search a cheaper yet quite well located hotel takes. Or are ready to go to the surrounding area, but then pay attention to good connections, the journey times can be long and if no longer in the subway network number of possible trains, if necessary. also very thin in the evening. And the next station can also be far away, in possibly not so good area.

2,000-2,500€ per person only for accommodation and flight is certainly not a bargain, but (without knowing what for accommodation and where) also not extremely overpriced. Apart from that, there would be a strange descent somewhere from the shot. You have to pay attention in New York.

It always depends on what everyone is included in the price and what price category you have chosen.

Much too expensive.

Book flights directly at the airline. I don’t know where it’s going, but for the data, for example from Frankfurt, there are flights from 390€ for the data.

A good hotel is available from about 1600€ for the period. e.g. https://www.booking.com/Share-ioQPsKL

Hello. Yes, the whole region is super expensive and the cheap usable hotels are up every 2500-3000€ in your period. I might look at New Jersey’s side in Newark. Maybe it’s cheaper there.

I would book flights at swoodoo.de, have had good experience. They are currently not expensive and are around €400-450 per person back and forth. I recommend Lufthansa, American, Delta or British Airways.

Greetings and beautiful holidays.

No, there are much cheaper (good) hotels. You shouldn’t fly with LH. Completely miserable service.

Also, you should not book via third-party providers like Swoodoo.

Can only reflect my experiences. With the hotels you may be right, but with favorable there are often correct descents that are just horrible to that I have oriented to halfway good reviews, and the prices start as described. And LH is no longer top, but still good midfield. But interesting that you have had other experiences.. I stay with my post

See my contribution. For 1600€ you get something good. Good 3* midfield with rating of 8.4/10.

And LH’s not even medium. It’s now coming down. Every frequent flyer confirms that. For example: https://frankfurtflyer.de/wie-schlecht-ist-lufthansa-aus-sichtweise-eins-lufthansa-vielflieger/ and https://www.handelsblatt.com/unternehmen/handel-konsumgueter/airline-wie-die-lufthansa-ihr-custom-im-growth-vergisst-/29116808.html
