New cookware set, but which is best?
After much deliberation, I decided to buy a set of cooking pots which may be more expensive, but which is of good quality and also durable, with no water retention under the lid of the cooking pot.
Which do you use?
I have seen good pots with flat stainless steel lids but they are also covered with silicone and silicone breaks down at a certain heat, which is a health concern for me.
Use electric stove.
You know my answer.
On electric stove you can forget copper pots. What happens pots with copper plating. You can look at the buyer.
Or even cast iron pots from Le Creuset. Also cheaper from Petromax. But in the pots I would only cook and never leave a little longer, because their pots are made of pure cast iron and have no coating. So a sauce with tomatoes, or so it attacks the steel and it starts to rust. This is certainly not good for health. Like Le Creuset.
What I just remember: dust. They also make cast iron pots.
And these pots are also sustainable, as cast iron mainly consists of old irons and you can inherit them.
I use Ikea stainless steel pots. It's enough for me and we cook every day.
