New cell phone and which one?

I have an iPhone 6s and I'm thinking about getting a new one because my current one runs out of battery after 2 hours (I've already replaced the battery, but that didn't help) and the selfie camera is also broken. But I don't really want to spend that much money, and I don't want a big phone either. I'd prefer an iPhone 5 because I had that one before and it was much better, but it's probably not worth it anymore.

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions?

would help me, thanks 🙂

You should not do a downgrade because the iPhone 5 is no longer supported.

My advice is to choose a much newer device and combine it with a change of provider. With Contract is an iPhone already much easier to finance when comparing the prices and buying them according to their needs.

It doesn’t have to be the latest model. Even an iPhone 12 as a B-good is available with fare from 20 € monthly. With this you are well equipped for a few years and this is also well financeable for the smaller wallet.

If you want to stay with iPhone, maybe the iPhone SE 3. Generation what for you: https://www.apple.com/en/iphone-se/

If this is too expensive, just a cheap Android device will remain. It’s 80€. Incl bad hardware and no updates.

I recommend a used iPhone XS with 128 GB. It is handy and makes great photos and still has iOS 17.5.1

Mine cost 240 € 2 years ago. You will get it from 170 €

An iPhone 12 or a SE of a new generation make sense.

However, for the small purse I would rather grab an Android device, e.g. Redmi. I personally use Apple.

Look for one on various cross-country portals:

Unfortunately, small screens are hardly produced. 🙁

I currently use a Motorola Moto G72 and as a replacement Smarty the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G. I’m very happy with both.

Before that I had several Samsung S5 Neo. Unfortunately, some apps no longer worked, especially the KYC verification for Krypto stock exchanges…

You’d better get an iPhone 12 or later.

The older and SE models are now no longer very good. And you can’t find them new, because they are no longer produced.

For the money which costs an apple eaten, you get far better Android devices. Does it always have to be an iFön?

The iPhone 5 has been outdated for years. Get a Google Pixel 8 or 8a. Google does not artificially limit the battery life for old devices, as Apple does.

Google Pixel 8a from € 469.00 (2024) | Price Comparison Geizhals Germany

Google Pixel 8 from € 539,89 (2024) | Price Comparison Geizhals Germany

Apple doesn’t do that either. Where did you get that information?

Google Apple Battery. This “information” is generally known if you do not have the apples on your eyes. There has already been a collectible and Apple has to pay.

Do you know the proverb: whoever lies, you don’t think…? A company that secretly, quietly and quietly deceives its customers, I also trust that they deliberately shorten the battery life.

Yeah, I know this case, he’s been a few years ago.

As far as I know, the battery power was not in itself, but the processor power was throttled as soon as the battery has reached a certain value of the maximum capacity.

Of course, this is no longer the case with current iPhone models. So Apple does not artificially restrict iPhone performance, at least no longer.

By the way, I don’t have apples on my eyes, but I just know about Apple, iPhone and other devices. Such comments are simply unnecessary.
