Leasing a new car: Would you rather have a very well-equipped A5 50 TDI or a less-equipped S5 TDI?
It's about the A5 50 TDI with 286 hp and the S5 TDI with 341 hp. Both with V6 engines.
Both have a similar list price and leasing price.
However, the A5 has more premium features such as a panoramic roof, Bang & Olufsen sound system, 360-degree camera, driver assistance system…
and the S5 TDI.
Which one would you choose? (Both in black and sportback)
I’ll give you an answer that you probably don’t want to hear, but you should have a look at you overnight and maybe let it go into your decision.
My experience is that you always find it tempting to order any shit from the surcharge list and after that you may still use 10% of all things. So consider very critically what you just get technically enthusiastic and after using it once or twice, it hasn’t used anyway and what actually represents an added value for one.
Secondly, I would choose the smaller motorization – a great motorization will only lead you to drive too fast. Even the smaller one of the two is not exactly sparsely motorized. And where can and will one actually move such a companion so that such a motor is worthwhile? you don’t have to take 105 PS bodies, but the engine might align a bit with actual needs and the actual possibility to use the same.
Definitely the A5 50TDI. It’s also well motorized, so I’d rather go to the equipment.
Look at the two insurance companies and you have the answer that the 50 TDI is the better choice.
