The model and the condition of the device are unknown, but I assume that it is an otherwise usable and reasonably up-to-date device.

A new battery would therefore be much more economical than a new purchase. Contact a certified service. I also strongly recommend paying more attention to the protection of the battery. Even small changes in the usage behavior can significantly extend the life of the battery.

Yes, with an iPhone 12, I would definitely change the battery. It’s probably gonna last a few years.

However, I did not mean the frequency of use. Batteries have certain “welcome” areas which the Life (here more information) influence. Temperature, load, loading behavior etc. – there’s something going on. Thus, a renewed loss of the maximum capacity can be avoided.

I have bought a similarly bad battery capacity and I just bought a MagSafe Powerbank, so I don’t need a new cell phone, as mine still works perfectly and didn’t need a new battery

Oh, God, 73% residual maximum capacity, the battery is completely empty after three hours! Simply change battery, costs about 50 euros.

And with a three-year-old iPhone you can have a lot of fun.

New battery if the runtime really bothers you

How about activating optimized battery charging??

In such a case, a new battery is already looming (or ne Powerbank of course;)

Can you have them exchanged at the trade or have a new one, provided you have any idea.
