Netflix quality low, why?

Hello, I have a problem with my Netflix quality.

I have the most expensive Netflix subscription, a Samsung Galaxy 21 FE (latest version) and 250 Mbps.

And yet my maximum resolution is SD, even though it was 4K/HDR for a while.

Does anyone have a solution?

I might also reinstall the app. But it wouldn’t be the first time to trick the Netflix with the resolution. In the browser on the PC, I also get no better resolution than 720p.

Well, your 21 FE has only FHD+ and can’t be 4k. In mobile phones 4 k display is unnecessary because they have such a small display. So if you only bought Netflix 4k for the phone, it’s unnecessary.

I also pay Netflix ~1-2€ per month 😉

Check the settings again, otherwise uninstall the app.

Some versions of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may not support HDR in Netflix, which results in lower playback quality.

Make sure your device model is fully compatible with Netflix HD or HDR streams, and then try the following steps to improve quality:

1. Cache/App data deleted and re-registered

Two. Reinstall app and then restart the phone, which seemed to help some people.

You can also try to restart the phone in safe mode to see if it does. Or try.
