However, if someone from another network wants to access your subscription (account), Netflix will stop this in the future.

But how does Netflix want to check who looks from what household?

About the IP address. For example, if members look at Netflix primarily via a Smart TV, the service notices the corresponding Internet connection. Then all devices streaming via this link are automatically assigned to a household like Netflix. These devices are considered to be part of the official Netflix household, through which customers can easily see all films and series through their account. For IP addresses that deviate from this, Netflix wants to demand money for additional members, i.e. more households. Netflix has already asked the first customers in Germany to confirm their budget. Account owners can also manually confirm or update a Netflix household via the settings. If they don’t do this, Netflix automatically sets a budget for the account using IP address, device IDs and account activities.

The total Netflix account must not be shared outside the household. Just inside.
