Hi, I'm 15 and Asian (Kazakhstan). Lately I've noticed that we Asians are becoming very fetishized. Everyone wants to date an Asian, preferably a Korean. Most people only date Koreans because of their nationality, so they can tell everyone they have a Korean boyfriend, even though it's not even about true love anymore. Korea is becoming very fetishized at the moment, and many people believe that life there is like in K-dramas. Many people lie about their nationality, saying they are from Korea even though they are not. They use fake pictures from Pinterest. Many people also "change" their nationality (which is not even possible). Many people think that when you mention the continent of Asia, there are only Korea and Japan in Asia. At school they say to me, "Ching Chang Chong" or "are you from Korea?" It's really annoying now. What do you think of all this?

Yes Asians are fetished what excites me themselves (Come from Korea) I just understand that as soon as you look asian you are asked directly whether you are Korean i mean why we are also just people

I have to listen to what rumors people spread about Asians in general and even negative rumors about South Koreans.
