nerve/tissue damage due to cold?
Hi hi, I have a question about my medicine mice.
I have a circulatory disorder and went ice skating yesterday on a whim. My fingers became abnormally white and numb and hurt beyond belief, so we went. However, it took over an hour for my hand to warm up, which is usually never this bad. Now, after a day, my fingers hurt abnormally; they're red, burning, and itching beyond belief. Every touch hurts so much I can't even open my pants to go to the bathroom. I use hand cream mainly to cool them down, and because they feel so dry,
Is this serious and does anyone have any tips? 🥲
Hey,
that sounds like a classic 1st degree. Unfortunately, you can’t do much anymore. You could try if a hot-hot camel tea bath is good for you. Try to avoid friction and various ointments and go to the family doctor tomorrow if it still hurts.
It can be that your hands are more sensitive to the cold in the future.
Unfortunately, I can’t tell you much more, I’m only trained in the immediate care of a little bite…
Good improvement
Hey,
This sounds like a classic Raynaud’s syndrome for me, especially when you’re obsessed with blood circulation.
Why don’t you read that? https://www.msdmanuals.com/en/heim/herz-und-doses/periphere-arterial-closed disease/raynaud-syndrom
The redness and burning in your fingers the next day can come from the fact that the vessels in your fingers have “smoothed” and blood flows again, which is quite painful.
It may be that this happens again. triggers are usually cold, stress, media/drugs, smoking (can make it worse) and rare it is another basic disease (e.g. Lupus erythematodes).
When it comes back, you should warm up your hands as quickly as possible and move your fingers.
Evtl could let you clarify it with a doctor in order to get accurate diagnostics and avoid tissue damage as well as a suitable method for prevention or prevention. to get treatment, or also to determine on ice is a primary (through cold, stress etc) or a secondary (i.e. due to another disease) Raynauds syndrome.
Usually the Raynauds is harmless, so you don’t have to be afraid:)
Good improvement (I hope your fingers are good again:) )
