Nernst equation Daniell element?
How to calculate the voltage of the following galvanic elements:
Copper and zinc with:
Standard potentials
Cu/Cu2+ = 0.35 V
Zn/Zn2+ = – 0.76 V
c(Cu2+)=c(Zn2+)= 0.5 mol/l
and
c(Cu2+) = 0.5 mol/lc(Zn2+) = 1 mol/l
Please provide detailed calculation method
I just don’t have enough time to count on it, but if there’s any more questions I should just report it then I’ll guess if I have more time. In principle, you have to make three calculations: twice set up the Nernst equation (one per half cell each) and then form the difference of the potentials resulting therefrom. This then corresponds to the cell voltage.

Hello, yes I would be grateful if you could do that. I’m just talking about the result, but if you get out of something else than I would like to know why. That’s why with the three equations as you described it.
Show us your bill and we’ll tell you if it’s true.
