this can not create an internet connection

Is the router connected to the DSL port?

Have you entered the access data for the DSL correctly

Does the box have to be connected to a phone or lan connection?

With the DSL connection of course

Whether you want to use LAN or WLAN, you can choose yourself locally.

LAN is usually better

Of course, the router has to be connected to the telephone line, from where else is it supposed to receive the data that it then sparks into the area?

Do you have internet access at a provider?

The “WAN” socket of the router must then usually be wired to the transfer point of the provider.

usually the “WAN” socket of the router with the transfer point of the provider

… this is just the exception of the rule, namely when the provider builds an active fiberglass connection or when using an external modem.

OK, misconductively expressed on my part.

You don’t need it. Except you have a fixed network connection

Please

And how should the router come into the intert?

You need DSL or cable internet or fiberglass

Or your local Wi-Fi does not get your router to the Internet
