Should I declare additional costs in my tax return?

Hello,

Can you include utility costs on your tax return, and if so, how? Can the information be found in the utility bill, or does it only apply to costs that aren't listed in the annual utility bill but that you paid for yourself?

I would be very happy to receive helpful and understandable answers.

Greetings Ricco

Tax reductions according to §35a EStG:

Here, there are possibilities to make taxable 20% of the wage costs. It is important that the activities in the household are carried out by you.

  • household services through a minijobber I hired
  • household services that are not minijobber
  • Handicraft services

It is of course always the total amount to be entered, the FA is reduced from its own to 20%.
