Earn money independently alongside training and still receive child benefit?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if I lose my entitlement to child benefit if I earn additional money from my business during my apprenticeship. And what about the half-orphan's pension? Will it be reduced?

Thanks in advance🙌🙏

Since 1 July 2015, children’s income from the age of 18 is no longer counted on orphan pensions.

In the case of child benefit, the income limit in January 2012 has fallen, so if you meet the other conditions for child benefit from the completion of the 18 to 25 years of age, e.g. in education or studies, there is also further entitlement to child benefit, as income no longer plays a role here.

Orphan pension can be up to max. Completion of the 27 year of life if the conditions are met.

Correct

Because, as explained at the orphan’s pension since July 2015, there is no limit on income for children from the age of 18 and no longer on child benefit since 2012.

Therefore, if you meet the conditions for child benefit and orphan pension from the completion of the 18 year of life, earning income is no longer relevant for the claim in both cases.
