Deviated septum – does it cost money for those with statutory insurance and does this mean I speak nasally?
Hello everyone,
I've had a deviated septum since birth. This week I saw an ENT doctor who performed an outpatient surgery to straighten it. However, he said that since I have statutory health insurance, I'd have to pay €200. Is this normal for this type of procedure?
He also said that my nasal voice is not caused by a deviated septum, but by my palate.
Can this be?
Mostly nasal pronunciation for the nose…. Graduation in the hospital actually pays the health insurance…
