Have scars lasered?

Hi dear ones

Something really stupid happened to me in fifth grade. I tried to drink from a thermos. The water was obviously way too hot and ran down my cleavage. I ended up in the hospital, etc. I also had to have a second-degree burn lanced afterward. That was a nightmare for me.

I'm now in 10th grade, and the scar really bothers me because it just doesn't look nice in the summer, and people keep asking me about it. My mom even suggested getting it lasered off, or someone once told me that they could have it cut out? Is that true? We'll probably have to pay for it, right? Would you recommend it? Image attached.
