Pronounce names differently?

Hello,

My name is Lea, and everyone pronounces it that way. In English, however, my name can also be pronounced Lia, which I find much nicer. Would it be weird if I wanted my name to be pronounced Lia?

Well, you have to tell everyone. Over and over. To be honest, I find Lea better than Lia.

This reminds me of Hyacinth Bucket, who insists that you express your last name Bouquet.

Hi, butterflower491, dear Lea. 😊

No, that’s not funny at all…

If you want to be called “Lia”, nothing should be done.

Greetings, Renate. 😊

Some people already give their pronouns after their name. You can then specify the IPA characters.

Here’s the list and explanation:

It’s not funny. But you just have to tell the others
