A few months ago, I blocked a number on WhatsApp. I also removed the contact from my contact list. The number has now been added to a group, and I can still see the name and even the messages.
Is it possible to block a private chat and also prevent me from seeing messages in a group? At least, that's my understanding of the "block" function. I would prefer not to be able to read the messages.

Loading...I have a new phone. My old phone already had a few holes in the display. I even have tempered glass on my phone now. Yesterday, however, I noticed a small black gap on the left side. I don't want my screen to get holes again. Should I ignore it, or do something about it?
I keep getting reposted videos on TikTok from someone I follow whenever I open the app or just scroll quickly. I don't want to see it, it doesn't interest me, but I don't want to unfollow them either. Does anyone know how to disable this?

WhatsaApp itself advises not to go into groups with blocked persons.

No. This does not work in groups in messengers. Blocked means that you cannot send private messages
If you do not want to see any posts from a group, you can block or exit the group
