Last name for the name Scarlett?
My protagonist in one of my stories is supposed to be called Scarlett. However, I can't think of a suitable last name.
Short description about Scarlett:
Dark brown hair, green eyes, small, and slim. She's a dreamwalker, meaning she can see and influence other people's dreams. She's usually in a good mood and helpful, but also very suspicious.
It would be important to me that the name be a bit more unusual than, say, Clark, Baker, or Johnson. Oh, and please, nothing German.
if he should be English then “scarlett thatcher” and if German then “scarlett grey”
How about that?
Scarlett Ariha (Ariha, arab. for Jericho)
Scarlett Jarich (Jarich is a moon god after the city of Jericho was named)
Scarlett Moonflower
Scarlett Moondance
Scarlett Everdream
Scarlett Nightingale
Scarlett Rêve (Rêve is fret for dream)
Scarlett Sogno (Sogno is Ital. for Dream)
That’s all I’m thinking about.
Scarlett Moonflower is my favorite. Sounds nice.

I think they sound too wanted.
Not if you make a person from your Scarlett with Indian roots. In the natives of North America such names were quite common.
Okay, accepted. What idea for a last name would you have that doesn’t sound “too desired” for you?
No, I generally find it strange when people in books have such thematic names. That always has something from a Daniel jet engine. But in the end it is the decision of the questioner.
O`Hara or Butler 😉
You shouldn’t take them, they already did.
Scarlett Williams or Scarlock or Scadlock.
Scadlock is my favorite.
I don’t know
Scarlett Francesco
Scarlett Dumbeldore
Scarlett Humblefire
Scarlett Morningdust (my favorite)
Scarlett Redverse
I hope that could help you.
