Everything red after nitrous oxide?

Yesterday I took laughing gas with a few of my friends (14 & 15 years old), which was actually quite fun, but after the 4th or 5th balloon (all with a 3 minute break so that oxygen gets to my brain, as I know the dangers), everything turned red for 10 or 15 seconds. I asked if it was the same for them (they took laughing gas one after the other without a break), but it didn't seem to be the case for them. I wanted to ask if that was normal?
