Eating after jaw surgery?

Hello! I had jaw surgery today (under general anesthesia) to fill a cavity in my jaw. They sewed it all back up, and I can't fully open my mouth on the right side, and I can't really chew there either. The doctor said I should only eat liquids and nothing with seeds for about 3-4 days. So only soup, baby food, semolina porridge, and things like that! I did that all day today. The problem is, I'm really craving pizza, and do you think it will make things worse if I only chew on my left side?

Can also eat ice cream and drink shakes, but better nothing feast. It is not just about chewing, but also about pressure on the scars, etc.

You’ll probably be able to miss out on your pizza for a few days.

Yes, of course, there’s something worse. Your attending doctor did not say without reason that you should not take any solid food for 3-4 days. Certainly not to annoy you.

Yeah, that’s annoying, but it’s essential.

You can also make the pizza in a mixer. Is a different consistency, but the taste fits.
