My storage space shows more than it actually is, what can I do?

My old HDD broke. So I have to move everything to my SSD. But when I try to download the Epic Games Launcher, it says: "Invalid drive: D:\ . I've already set the browser to load it onto the SSD.
According to Task Manager, I always have a program open called rsEngineSvc. Google says it's dangerous, but I don't know if I should close it because it's also somehow keeping Windows running or something.

If Microsoft can do something, then that’s not good. Applies also here for the occupancy of the disk space. The value Installed apps but you don’t have anything, because you can’t do anything with it when you click on it. You will see your installed apps, but there are no entries from Epic Games and Steam! And of course also from other programs!

You don’t see what your operating system still has in hidden system directories of update packages. And they can cover some storage space with time.
Regularly perform disk cleaning and use the “expanded options”. You can also remove the Windows updates (installation packages!).
