My DHL package hasn't arrived for over a month. What should I do?

I ordered something from Katja Shop on December 19, 2021. Since I've ordered there several times before and never had any problems, I simply assumed it would take a little longer due to the Christmas season.

I then wrote an email to the company because it was taking a bit too long. So far, I haven't received a response from the company, and the DHL tracking information says "has been notified electronically." However, that's been there since December 21, 2021.

Can I call DHL since they have a customer hotline? I also have a tracking number. But can they help me find out where my package is? Or is there any way I can get my money back? I paid with PayPal (as I said, I've ordered there several times before, paid with PayPal, and there have never been any problems). Could I otherwise contact PayPal and get my money back?

If the shipment is only announced, the package has not yet been sent.

DHL can't say anything because they don't have the package yet.

Electronically announced means that the sender has created a package number for her package. This usually happens shortly before shipment.

The package has not yet been sent.

Calling DHL doesn't bring anything that doesn't have the package.

Set the consignor in writing and comprehensible (eg writing or fax) a short grace period with a threat to the withdrawal from the purchase contract. At Paypal you can open a case with no retention, but I don't know.

Only the sender can have a search.

Turn to Paypal if the sender doesn't help you.
