Is a maternity test for a (half) sister even possible?
If the question is: is my mother perhaps my half-sister and my grandmother the mother of both of us?
Grandma is already dead, and my mother refuses to take a test. Can this test be enforced? And would it even provide any information, since we would both have inherited the same maternal genes? Is it possible to determine specifically whether it's my mother or my sister?
First, how old would your grandma be if she had got you and how old your mother was.
In my case, it would be quite unlikely as my grandma was 63 and my mom 36.
There is a test that proves by the mitochondria who is the mother, but it is given by mother to child ever more. Therefore, the test would bring you nix because it only indicates that grandma, mother and child are related. So make sure it’s not a test that just takes care of it.
You can only ask for a ancestral report. But I don’t know if they’re meaningful.
You can probably just force the test over a court. But this is likely to be difficult.
Other questions: Are there photos of your mother when she was pregnant with you? Otherwise, in the hospital where you were born, demand your birth certificate. There the bearer is also indicated. In Germany, it is very unlikely that this was faked.
There are no photos of my mother when she was pregnant with me….I don’t understand why she doesn’t want to test…if my son would doubt my motherhood, I would, of course, be ready to prove this by test. That’s very strange. My grandmother was 46 and my mother was 24 years when I was born.
Then turn to the hospital and apply for your birth certificate. that can’t just be falsified. Otherwise, it may also be that your mother is infertile and your grandma was pregnant with an egg donation. because one woman is very burdened, it can be that she just wants to forget it. Some women think and feel less worth it. The same happens when you were witnessed in rape. about short or long: there are many ways why your mother refuses to give up. I’m honest: if you’re so burdened, put it in court. no matter what comes out, the relationship with your mother is gone, can also happen that she never wants to talk to you again.
Because children have a strong connection with being a woman – so she doesn’t get a child, she won’t be recognized as a woman.
Yeah, you’re right. I just don’t understand why she can’t tell me? I’m disappointed, because she doesn’t tell me anything at all and has stopped contact in a bad way on the day of my grandma’s death. Since that day, she has forbidden me to contact her….And my father and my brother have also failed in quite a way, with a lie, as well as contact….this is incomprehensible and difficult for me to get clear. Especially when my uncle, my father’s brother wrote to me that they can’t blow me out of the family… but they do.
