Yes. But I chose a 7-year-old (later to 6 years shorter) release as a helper in disaster protection, as I was a firefighter at that time for several years.

Yeah, I would have known, but I volunteered at that time.

Don’t have to. But I did, unfortunately. A decision that I regret to this day.

It was 2003, I was young and naive. At that time, I still believed in the Moravia that the Bundeswehr would serve to defend Germany, it would be a patriotic duty and such a Uncle-Sam-Quatsch. Today I know something better, who the Bundeswehr serves: NATO and only NATO. And this does not pursue peace or security interests, but only the interests of the United States. At that time, I was abused as a logistical support for a U.S. war of attacks based on Liar propaganda, by guarding their barracks, while the U.S. soldiers in Iraq were bombing and killing.

I would have done civil service with my knowledge today. I wouldn’t put a gun in my hands today even in the case of defense.

Theoretically, I was subject to defense.

I came before the convocation. I went to BW shortly after my Gesellen exam with 17 as volunteer SaZ4.

Jein, you could also afford his civil service, but it was a little longer than the military service.

I was Zivi! Was a beautiful year and I learned a lot, after the Abitur, I did it very well.

Greetings.

Yeah, you couldn’t afford a civilian service in the GDR. You could deny the ‘service on the weapon’, and some have done it. But for military service they had to get a spat instead of the weapon. The normal service period was 18 months, by the way.

Theoretically, I was still subject to a military force, and practically I didn’t even have to appear as a model at the time, but after submitting the necessary evidence, I was classified as non-competent.

The basic training began on 1.10. many years ago. Hasn’t always been fun, especially not the 5000 meter run.

But for that we did not need to drag our lean Wehrsold into a “Gym”, but had fitness for free. And there’s hardly one thing in the catering.

From the steam room you would get fat and through the hourly smoke breaks to the smoker.

I was still in the pattern in 2011, but it was suspended in the same year.

Too bad, because I’d like to go to the Bundeswehr.

Yes, unfortunately, was the most boring time of my life in this Circus.

But I did civil service. That was 2001. I had 11 months.

Yeah, I know that, and there are countries, there are three years.
