Muss man eine leichte Pneumonia nicht mit Antibiotika behandeln?

Kennt jemand sich in der Medizin etwas aus?
Ich leide seit ungefähr seit einer Woche unter rechte Rippenschmerzen . Die Schmerzen sind seit gestern Abend, so unerträglich dass ich beschloss ins Krankenhaus zu fahren und es zu checken. ( vorab ich bin nicht gestürzt, ich habe seit August ununterbrochen Husten und bin auch die letzten Tage krank gewesen wo mein husten schlimmer geworden ist.) Als ich im Krankenhaus war wurde ein Röntgenbild gemacht um eine Fraktur der Rippen auszuschließen und es war ein Verdacht auf eine Pleuritis die auch ausgeschlossen wurde. Der Arzt meinte zu mir, ich hätte eine leichte Lungenentzündung, da man im Röntgenbild einen dunklen Schatten erkennt . Was ich aber komisch fand, der Arzt meinte ich brauch kein Antibiotikum und soll beim Hausarzt eine Atemtherapie machen und im Arztbrief steht auch keine Diagnose. Muss man nicht normalerweise bei einer Lungenentzündung Antibiotika einnehmen? Und wenn es auch keine ist warum habe ich solche Schmerzen und warum hat man was auf dem Röntgenbild diesen Schatten gesehen?

I hope your lungs don’t consist of bones, they can’t break. You looked for rib fractures. ^^
Because antibiotics only work with bacteria and cannot be triggered by both viruses and ne pneumonia. Antibiotics is also not distributed like TicTacs to avoid the formation of resistances. So if you’re young and otherwise fit, there’s no reason for it.

Yes I thought it could be a ribbed inflammation, that would at least explain the severe pain and of course the cough. I was already taken by the doctor because of my cough but he meant I should go to the HNO. I also have any cough dissolvers, juices, tablets taken all possible but the cough does not go away.

Well, Anbtibiotika is already a violent thing. You shouldn’t use it anywhere because you’re breeding killer bacteria or something.
Yes, that’s true but I know when I was still a child I felt at every infection getting antibiotics (which was of course not good) it’s not about getting antibiotics to me it was just wondering that you didn’t treat pneumonia.
