So, I'm planning to convert an Audi A6 C4 to Audi S6 C4 technology and a 2.2 20v turbo engine. I have a question: If you end up with 500-600 hp with chip tuning, a larger turbo, etc., can you then drive with the standard Quattro drive, or is it the same in the S6 C4 as in the A6 C4 Quattro?

Die 230PS Serienleistung und auch moderat getunte 350PS kannst du noch problemlos mit Frontantrieb fahren, da brauch man noch kein Quattro.
500-600PS sind zwar technisch theoretisch möglich, aber einem Motor der schon 25 Jahre und 200.000km auf dem Buckel hat sollte man das nicht mehr zumuten, weil dann hast die wahrscheinlich nach 10.000km nen Motorschaden.
Ausserm müsstest du dann von Getriebe bis zu Achsen und Bremsen fast Alles umbauen, und das würde dann am Ende mehr kosten als wie wenn du dir einen nagelneuen, aktuellen S6 bestellst. Rentiert sich niemals.

ich denke dass die Achsen und Antriebe auch getauscht werden müssen, da normal alles auf das jeweilige Fahrzeug abgestimmt ist. Auch die Fahrstabilität muss angepasst werden, Stossdämpfer etc.
