Muss man Arbeitslosengeld beantragen?
Hallo,
ich hab letztes Jahr zum 31.12. meinen Job gekündigt, weil ich ein Auslandsjahr in Australien machen wollte. Im Januar war ich dann noch arbeitslos (habe meine Krankenkasse selbst bezahlt) und ab Februar dann in Australien.
Vor einer Woche bin ich wieder gekommen. Möchte jetzt natürlich so schnell wie möglich wieder arbeiten, aber das geht ja nicht von heute auf morgen, weshalb ich mich beim Arbeitsamt arbeitssuchend gemeldet habe, hauptsächlich damit ich krankenversichert bin.
Hab dann auch direkt alle Unterlagen bekommen um das Arbeitslosengeld zu beantragen. Hab das jetzt auch versucht, aber ehrlich gesagt ist mir das viel zu kompliziert, ich versteh die hälfte davon nicht und ich hab auch keine Lust meine ehemaligen Arbeitgeber zu kontaktieren, da dieser nämlich auch was ausfüllen muss. Ich brauche dieses Geld auch gar nicht, da ich noch eines Erspartes habe und bei meinen Eltern wohnen kann. Und ich möchte ja auch spätestens Oktober oder November wieder arbeiten.
Daher meine Frage: Muss ich dieses Geld zwangsläufig beantragen? Bin ich trotzdem krankenversichert?

As long as you pay the health insurance yourself and do not need the money, you are not obliged to apply for the money. I would recommend you to the employment office or Agency for work to go and ask for a conversation that can explain to you, and then that is not so complicated.
