Do I need to see a doctor?
I'm 12 years old and weigh 63 kg. According to the BMI calculator, I'm 4 kg overweight. I feel like I'm getting fatter and have wanted to lose weight for a long time, but I can't seem to. Some people say I should see a doctor, but I wanted to ask if that's necessary at 4 kg. I'm just a little worried that I'll get even heavier, because if I grow 1-2 cm, I immediately gain 2-3 kg, and there's nothing I can do about it. Sometimes I just gain weight.
4 kg is not soooooo much now. Since autumn 2020, have over 40 kg down, but I’m still at 120 kg – a completely different caliber than you. Private doctor? Or a pediatrician? I’d talk to him about it. If necessary, he will send you to nutritional advice. And then, how is your home cooked? Can you decide?
I have a family doctor but my mother doesn’t know I’m overweight… My mother often cooks vegetables and so I usually eat in the city of Pommes, Döner, Pizza, Burger etc. She doesn’t know that. I know it’s wrong, but I can’t get away from it.
Sounds like a addiction? It’s sweets with me. Where fast food can be delicious… you can eat something like that. But rarer and smaller portions …
Go ahead. Maybe something’s wrong with the thyroid.
I often eat fast food. Don’t get away from it
You are a child in growth and you shouldn’t worry about this 4 kg yet
