Should I be worried if the condom breaks but I'm taking the pill?
Hi,
I've been taking the estrogen-free pill Malina for about a month. My boyfriend and I just had a minor mishap during sex, and the condom broke, which we didn't notice until afterward. Should we be worried? We've already researched pregnancy tests and the morning-after pill online. Unfortunately, I don't think I can take the morning-after pill anymore, as I'm nearing the end of my cycle. Should we just let it go for now, or should I do a few tests in the near future just to be on the safe side?
Hello Wolfsfan1
If you take the Malina regularly, do not testify, do not have a diarrhea and do not take any medicines that affect the effect of the pill, then you are protected to 99.9% (the missing 0.1% refer to unnoticed or uninitiated intake errors according to the expert opinion). You are also still protected in vomiting and really liquid diarrhea if you reagier properly and take a pill when it happens within 4 hours after taking the pill. In this case, only really aqueous diarrhea counts as diarrhea. If that’s true, you can’t get pregnant. The pill is one of the safest contraceptives and if you are both healthy you can dispense with the condom and he can also come in you.
You don’t need the pill after, or tests
NOTE: If you take the pill after that you can lose the protection of the pill. The protection will only begin once the pill has been removed after the pill at least 14 days uninterrupted and error-free.

Thanks for the star
If you’ve taken your pill in writing and error-free, you can theoretically have sex without condom, as you’re protected by the pill.
Double keeps better, but in this case it is not so bad if the condom is torn, as you, as I said, are protected by the pill. The pill dananch is neither empirical nor necessary in the case.
No, it should be safe if you took the pill as prescribed.
Condoms don’t just tear like that, especially when used correctly. Maybe practice again?
At first it is quite difficult to trust this little pellet. But why do you actually use hormones every day if you do not trust your contraception method? It is the purpose of this contraceptive to protect you from a conception.
Estrogen-free pills with desogestrel differ from the classic mini pill in that the dose in most cases is sufficient to prevent the ovoid from being mature in addition to the change in the mucous membrane in the cervix channel and the mucous membrane.
A breakthrough ovulation (unwanted spontaneous ovulation) can only occur with uncorrected intake errors/exchange effects. But this is then in temporal connection with the error, but not with a “natural cycle”.
Although no contraceptive agent offers 100% protection – absolute abstinence would be necessary – even sterilization does not. However, no one asks if this is enough to prevent…
However, the pill is a quite reliable method of contraception and a pregnancy in the absence of erroneous errors almost excluded. According to the expert opinion, that it does not have a Pearl Index of Smooth Zero, it is probably due to unnoticed or unadmitted errors in taking.
Happy for you!
When taking the pill regularly, I see the risk as very minimal. However, you should practice the handling of a condom again.
Pill is very safe when you take it regularly. Nothing should happen. If you want to be sure make a test but will be negative.
Stay relaxed for the first time. You certainly know best when your days are to be expected. If they’re still waiting for you after three days, your women’s doctor will be right away. With the pill you are currently on the safe side.
If you have taken your pill regular, you should be on the safe side.
