Muss ich meiner Bank meine Skrill/Paypal überweisungen offenlegen?

Moin,

Once again, in shops with over 10,000€, banks want to know where the money comes from or where it goes.

It’s part of the anti-money laundering law.

Oh, sorry. Read me.

Do you have several partial payments that come over 10k in total? If you’re under 10k, I don’t see a legal basis to prove the origin.

We had some time ago, we had brought under 10k from a foreign account (income resolution outside the EU and the bank there did not allow UW to the EU..

So lifted, changed, taken along.

Here paid by machine within a few weeks on dtsch. Online account.
Deposit was limited and over whose compagnion bank we would have paid a total of 10% fee etc.

And then it started. Suspicion of money laundering, account decommissioning is threatened.

And that’s exactly what you don’t want.

Therefore, all evidence is submitted. Certificate, account statements, bank confirmations, bills.

To make short: months-long vulture (we have always answered immediately, the bank reports for example after 6(!) Weeks, they couldn’t open a pdf.. allegedly, writing back did not arrive…)

I haven’t experienced anything like that (and I worked with a bank myself).

After that it was even about a Sch## how, why about the inheritance sum just about 280€ missing?
We were eating a couple of times.

We should then present the invoices. Yes, if I go to dinner, I’ll always be putting out a personalized RE on holiday.

The law on money laundering is clear; you also have a better effect under 10k.

I’ve only told you the whole story so you can understand: wonder about nix.

Play the game, don’t be surprised and angry, you have proof and a frozen account no one wants.

Of course, I am surprised that paypal has not yet asked for these are always particularly strict and partly freeze your credit without real thought until you fill in extremely many documents

The bank doesn’t care what you spend your money on. For a deposit from unknown sources, this would be different.

Can they and can.

You freeze the account if you don’t provide proof. Despite under 10k.

Of course the bank can. If they think you’ve got money from unclean sources, they’re blocking your bank account.
