If you are subject to unlimited income tax in Germany (so you have residence or usual residence in Germany) yes. Then the world income principle applies. That means it doesn’t matter where in the world you get the profits. They must be taxed in Germany in principle.

You may find different regulations from this principle in an agreement to avoid double taxation between Germany and the country concerned.
