Muss ich den Kassenbon immer drucken?
Ich habe für jemanden ein Kassensystem der Marke SumUp eingerichtet, bestehend aus Display, Kartenterminal und Thermodrucker.
Nach jeder Transaktion bietet mir das System an, den Beleg per Mail zu senden, per SMS zu senden oder zu drucken. Das geht sogar noch nach der Transaktion über die Umsatzübersicht.
Alternativ kann man das Gerät auch so einstellen dass es immer und automatisch alle Belege ausdruckt. Das würde allerdings viel Papier verbrauchen und wäre in der Praxis unsinnig, da diese Zettel zu 99,9% im Papierkorb landen und jeden Tag vielleicht ein Kunde mal einen mitnimmt.
Kann mein Chef dem Kunden auch anbieten den Beleg per Mail zu senden/per SMS zu senden oder muss er ihn immer ausdrucken?
Oder anders formuliert: erfüllt ein SMS- oder Mail-Beleg die Bonpflicht? Oder muss er immer gedruckt werden.

A credit must be offered to the consumer, because it is legally entitled to a proof of payment – but it does not have to accept it.
The credit obligation as such does not concern the issue of a credit to the customer, but the storage of a credit in the dealer’s cash register system; the Bon itself must therefore be stored in addition (this is the difference to the earlier – since the Bon was not additionally stored) –> is aimed at the law – this is sum-up; therefore it can be printed later.
So if the customer doesn’t want to, I can just type on “skipping” and everything is good?

The system deletes the data according to the manufacturer immediately after sending the document. Would that be compatible with the GDPR?

With this “hot topic” you should be advised legally. I can imagine that your tax advisor might be more white and a good contact person.
Always and basically print – only so you are on the safe side. What the customer does with it is his thing.
So it’s best to use automatic printing?
