Does an overbite need to be treated?
Hello everyone,
I have an overbite (about 10mm, maybe a little over). As a teenager, I wore fixed braces and removable braces for a total of six years. The overbite has remained. I'm now over 25 years old.
However, I don't have any problems with this overbite, so no pain or anything like that.
And purely for aesthetic reasons, I don't want to undergo such an operation because I'm really afraid of it.
So my question is: Does an overbite necessarily need to be treated?
No. As long as there are no complaints, I wouldn’t let that happen.
You’ve been answering yourself. No complaint, no pain, no beauty surgery. You got 25 with it. Then the death will hardly be knocked at 26. Or why or for whom “must:” that – in your opinion – will be treated?
