Does a native speaker still have to provide a C1 certificate for university?
Hello, I was born in France and lived there for 10 years.
I then moved to Germany and completed my Abitur there. Now I want to study in Luxembourg, where you need a French certificate (C1), which you have to present. I don't have that; I only have B2 because of my Abitur.
But I can speak and write French, so do I still need to provide such a certificate? Or is it enough to prove that I grew up in France?
Please for an interview in French at this university. Make an entrance check there.
Depends on your university’s guidelines. But if you can really get French so well, the certificate should not pose any problems with you
177 euro costs the discounted fee if it is not necessary then I would like to dispense with the exam. But then, I’m best at the university. Thanks anyway
Somewhere in the regulations will stand that no language certificate has to be provided if you have the language in question as a native language. And what evidence is required in the case.
