Musikproduzent werden?
Hey, ich will echt unbedingt Musikproduzent werden, vor allem für Hip-Hop im englischsprachigen Raum. Das ist das Einzige, worauf ich wirklich Bock habe und worin ich mich richtig sehe. Andere Karrierewege interessieren mich zwar auch ein bisschen, aber ich denke da mehr ans Geld und weniger daran, dass es mich glücklich machen würde.
Ich frage mich halt, ob ich direkt Musikproduktion studieren soll, damit ich da alles reinstecken kann, oder ob ich vielleicht doch lieber Informatik studieren soll, und die Musikproduktion in meiner Freizeit machen sollte und sehen wie sich das so entwickelt?
Habe ich falsche Vorstellungen von diesem Beruf? Ich möchte für große Rapper Musik produzieren und mit denen zusammen arbeiten.

Do you even have the equipment?
I mean, it’s a difference whether you have the idea or whether you can translate it. And talk about experience/knowledge how music is created at all.
Nowadays you really need only one PC and the necessary software and can produce really good music. I already have experience but of course I still have to learn a lot and so I asked if I should study music production directly? Because I have to be able to do all the music theory.
Both variants sound useful. I’ve studied computer science, I’ve been working as a teacher for computer science and in my spare time I’m doing music and music production. All of this is lovely! Only then do not ask that you become successful or even become famous!
I think I’m staying with computer science and doing music production in my spare time.
Do you have a basis for this job? Can you read notes, do you make music, do you have connections? How about a training that goes in that direction first?
