MPU due to long-term medication?
Hello Community,
I'm sure there are tons of questions about this. However, this one is a bit more specific.
I received an MPU decision for THC in traffic. After a few phone calls and letters, it was changed to a medical report for medicinal cannabis.
Report submitted, all in all positive.
• Illness does not affect driving ability.
• All regulations and requirements for driving suitability complied with.
• And another 4 out of 7 questions asked by the driving license authority were answered with positive answers by the doctor who examined them.
• Now comes the 7th answer/comment.
*"Due to the long-term medication with cannabis, an additional assessment of psychophysical performance is indicated within the framework of a psychological performance test."*
Now I have to take an MPU because of long-term medication with cannabis.
The question that arises is: Can I include the previously submitted medical report in the medical section (1 of 3) instead of retelling everything? I have the same doctor who provided the report.
The performance-oriented part (reaction test) and the psychological part are different topics.
Thank you in advance for the numerous and strong answers.
Every medical examination is a new one. Whether the doctor will simply use the old answers as a gesture of goodwill is impossible to determine. These MPU people can do whatever they want. It would be typical for them to ask everything again in order to provoke contradictions.
This case sounds like a money-making scheme. If the Federal Office for State Security had any concerns about this, they would have asked the question directly. Someone is probably getting a commission from the "state-supervised" assessment agency.
