Moving to another city?
I'm planning to move to another city next year. Now I'm wondering how best to proceed. I realize I have to find a job first—should I start looking for an apartment in Tibet at the same time? Or wait until I have a firm offer? I'm worried about getting a job but then not finding an apartment in time.
What would you advise me?
I would advise you to wait for the job announcement and then look for a short-term residence, e.g. living on time, WGs, intermediate rental. Some hotels or pensions also offer short-term rentals. Sometimes the new employer helps to find out.
The advantage is that from this situation you can observe time-flexibly viewing dates for the long-term apartment and do not have to arrive from another place every time. In addition, you can first see if one of the jobs actually likes, and in the worst case, you don’t have to redissolve a complete apartment.
No one’s gonna give you a job without a flat. You didn’t even find a new apartment like that.
