Mouse pad RGB lights up when my PC is off?
Good day,
I'm having a problem where my mouse pad still lights up when I shut down my PC. Unfortunately, the mouse pad doesn't have any software. Does anyone know how to make it turn off when I shut down my PC and maybe turn it back on when I start it up?
Greetings
This is because some components continue to receive power even after the PC is turned off. For example, you can charge your phone on the PC even when it's turned off. However, other components, such as your headset or mouse pad, are now also receiving power inadvertently. To change this, you first need to go into your motherboard's BIOS and disable the feature. This feature is hidden somewhere different from manufacturer to manufacturer.
You can set the BIOS to prevent the motherboard from outputting power via USB when the system is turned off.
Or you have to unplug the power supply every time.
Can you help me with this? I have one from Asus. The instructions on their support site don't work because I don't have USB power delivery in soft-off state.
Phew, if the instructions don't work, I don't know…I also have an Asus but for me it's as described in the instructions
Then there should be a button somewhere! In the worst case, simply unplug the USB connector or disconnect the wireless connection.
I also have a button, but I would like it to turn off automatically. If that's possible
Unfortunately I can't help you with that, it probably won't work without it being wireless or without control via application on the PC
