That depends. To adjust the fork to the body weight correctly is made via the SAG. For long spring travels with soft setup you take 25-30% SAG. With short spring paths and tight setup, 20-25% SAG is taken. That means if your fork has 100mm spring travel, then it must dip in a soft setup 25-30mm (if you sit on the wheel without driving). If you dip too far, you will turn preloade on + until it fits, and the little to no one comes in, you will turn up until it fits. However, it may be that the setting in one or the other direction does not go any further, which would mean your spring is too hard/soft for your body weight. Then it would have to be exchanged for a softer/harder spring.
