Motovlog setup?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to get into this whole topic. Are there any differences in the setup between a classic motovlog, where the biker's voice is recorded, and a motovlog where you only have ambient noise and the sound of the motorcycle? So, without any chatter?

There are differences in the setup

It depends. I have a SENA and can therefore theoretically also record my voice without additionally changing the setup. But then I can no longer talk with other speeches and half the channel is occupied by the throughput, i.e. the sound sounds much worse when recording. If you really want a good setup, you should buy an external microphone and connect to its GoPro. I had the Speedlink SPES (Amazon) recommended, costs only about one 10. To do this, you also need a microphone adapter that has always been completely overpriced: GoPro 3.5mm microphone adapter (Amazon). I’ve never been able to catch myself up to this before, because the part of course takes up space and I haven’t had a good idea getting that under the helmet. Of course, it’s kind of going. I also don’t know if it’s not possible to buy a microphone directly, which has a USB-C port. I also do not know whether there are functional adapters that do not come from GoPro itself.

The GoPro itself takes up the ambient noises during motorbike driving very well. If the visor is up and I’m talking a little louder, you can hear that. So if such clips are created, where someone completely takes the lead, my curse is always quite good to hear;)

Then you just need a camera like a GoPro. I personally would go to Hero 7 (Black). They also recommend 1000PS and some other motorcyclists. I’ve gotten myself too. The sound is completely enough, the camera has several microphones.
