Motorcycle test without a pillion passenger?

Hello everyone

I've been riding a 125cc motorcycle for two years. Now I want to upgrade to a larger one. However, I'm a little bothered by the fact that I have to take the expert rider on the motorcycle for the larger test. The one time I tried that, I felt very unsteady and felt like I was going to fall over on every turn. Is there a way to take the test without a passenger (in a support vehicle)?

Maybe you should practice your 125 with socius. It’s not very difficult, and you’ve already collected driving practice. The transition to a bigger one is no longer as bad as you might think. Also on the larger then to drive with socius goes quite easily from the hand.

Since when did the driver drive on the socius please? I’ve never heard that before. Neither in Germany nor in neighbouring countries.

Seriously?

Also Master…. 👍 I can’t stand there as a late worker. But I’d rather screw what I can do with mine. And much is that no longer

Everyone’s not, but a whole lot of it. And for over 30 years as a master on the screw.

Then everything’s clear. You, 40 years are long. You’ve got any development…

All right, you got it. Have been driving motorcycles for almost 40 years.

The permissible total weight was already taken into account in my “horror scenario”. And I’m not saying it was wrong either. I just think it might be a very nice challenge for a young girl with 50/55Kg. Because I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t drive like that later. Or at least if she was safe enough and had driving practice.

If that’s how it really belongs to the practical driving test, nothing else remains to you.

Then it remains to be hoped that the maximum permissible total weight of the motorcycle will not be exceeded.
Thus, if the vehicle weight, including the driver, would only allow an additional charge of 100 kg, the tester should no longer rise with its 130 kg.

But the two-person driving is not the same on the one hand.

It sounds worse than it is. You only have to adjust to the higher weight with its way of driving. However, if I am not incorrectly informed, driving hours are also made to get used to it at least with weight on the socius and not being overwhelmed on the day of the test.

If it’s 100 kg. Imagine it climbs a 170cm 130 Kg guy with half-glatt and sweat odor on you. So on the bike, of course. That would be a nightmare.

But seriously. Driving with a sozia is abundantly uninhabited at the first time, but actually no big problem. You need to adjust your driving style and watch that you do not tilt to the side when you stand still. Because then it would have been.

I also had such a dramatic experience in driving school with a driving instructor on the socius seat, which was heavier than the 125 and I together. When he sat on the socius seat, the moped was suddenly gone, because the feather legs are so immersed that no more suspension was possible. I woke up on approaching to find the balance that he did not have a ride. I never took a socius anymore, no matter how big and strong the machines were. Quite a lot of holiday baggage in the form of sack and/or suitcases, which was also bulky, was not a problem, but a person did not go, she could still be so light. There was a brake in the head activated by this overweight driving instructor.

And holiday trips to the Isle of Man, Le Castellet/South France, Italy/Elba, Croatia etc. went very well without socius, but with luggage and with two machines.

To your problem. If this is the rule in Switzerland that the driver is driving on the moped, then unfortunately you must practice, practice. Here I close Jogie24 on.

It makes you less trouble if you are positive about this. If you reject this situation internally, it won’t work. Just imagine, there’s a bulky bag on the socius seat. Then it might work better to arrange yourself with the fact that there is even more weight on it.

A lot of success in driving school and testing. And for later I wish you a lot of fun with your solo rides.

no .. unfortunately not . The tester also drives in the car with . . . and a motorcycle is now made for 2 people and you have to control that otherwise is vinegar with moped driving

To drive motorbike alone, do you have to control it with Sozius? Totally stupid. If you want to go with socius, you can practice it yourself in the parking lot and don’t have to take a fat driving instructor.

How stupid is your answer, do you think you’re going to drive to second motorcycle is something completely different than alone.

I only took someone as a socius after more than 9 years. Does that mean I couldn’t drive a motorcycle the years before?

Lachlan

Why is that?

You can sit very well on the motorcycle and drive motorcycle. It doesn’t need a socius.

No, it’s not. If the socius behaves correctly, it is not a big difference. Besides, not everyone wants to take a socius.

I’ve never heard that the examiner’s going along as a socius.

But there are really in isolated cantons of Switzerland.

Don’t even think so bad.

In Japan, it was or is so that the motorcycle is placed on the side during the test and must be erected by the rider alone again. If this does not pass the test. Other countries, other customs.
