Motorrad zu Hoher Benzin verbrauch?

Hallo ich habe mir eine Kawasaki Er6n gekauft

Baujahr 2011

Km 14000

Is normal, a low gasoline consumption does not stand in the specification of motorcycles, and a consumption of 7 litres is normal.

You brought you an 11-year-old man who just stood around all the time. You got a “wonder bag”. I’m guessing to take the part to the workshop to make inspection.

So… Oil change with oil filter, new air filter and Valve game.

This can provide a restless run and high petrol consumption.

As I said, the motorcycle has extremely little kilometers for age. Muttmassich stood in the garage for years unused. It may have been the damage to the stand.

These are already almost 9 liters (but reserve is still in the tank, estimated 3 liters, so you would still be on about 7 liters per 100 km) – so that’s already a lot. How are you going? Or nix between accelerations and brakes, always either the one or the other?

I come with my 750s on a nightly about 3.5 liters (lowest was 3.2) and usual city consumption of about 4 or just over. Road down, clear. I’ve never done over five.

That’s a carburetor, don’t you think?

That’s what you see. Air inlet, as on the filter, behind it a somewhat inconsistent apparatus – that would be a gasifier. No such apparatus, no gasifier.

Is that easy?

Hm, well, what I find as an average consumption of ER6 in normal driving mode, points to something between 4 and 5 liters. That’s what you’re lying about.

But now I’m not the screwdriver who can halve the consumption with two, three correct settings, but would go to my friend in such cases and say “Look” or “just one”. The directly verifiable things – too high rolling resistance and does not drip out – already checked, I prefer to read someone who knows what to do 🙂

You can only judge it when you fill it

If the reserve is 5l, this would be 10 l for 170km 5.9 l/100 consumption.

With a fast motorway ride, but also in short-haul operation, this would be a lot of normal for road trips. Without knowing the consumption of your machine.
