Motorcycle naked bike up to 4000 euros?
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a sporty-looking naked bike for up to €4,000. Until recently, I rode an MT 125 and now have my A2 license. I think the Yamaha XJ6 is pretty nice, but not ideal. It should be inexpensive to maintain and retain its value. I also considered a Ducati, but the prices are relatively high. I'm 1.85 m tall and would like a somewhat beefy machine.
I would be happy to receive suggestions
Thank you
Aprilia Shiver, looks like a big, super chassis, horny sound, superior V2
Thanks for her quick answer, which I have already looked at for the price, however, is a bit difficult to get and to my knowledge expensive in maintenance. May be a little older. Maybe it would make a lot of yourself.
Then I’ll fall into Kawasaki’s ER6f/n.
PS: Shiver is not expensive in maintenance.
Thank you
There’s hardly anyone here to help you. My tip, log in to the Shiver forum. After a brief introduction, you can also answer your questions.
Hello with each other,
I bought a Shiver 750 with ABS on weekends
Now a question, how do you think about the choke types? If a mechanic throttling had been done, she would really like to have her choke over the mapping.
Another question, does anyone of you know a good Aprillia dealer near Stuttgart Airport? Asked for one because of the choke, however, 300€ is quite expensive (mapping choke).
Thank you
Thank you very much for seeing what I find
In the case of the kilometers, the handling of the previous owners with the machine is important. In the Shiverforum we had one, two machines with engine damage between 10 and 20 thousand km. Many are now far over 50,000km. The 100,000km were also cracked with a GT.
I would see that the 20,000 service including the valve game was made. At 35-40,000km, the steering head bearing is welcome. If the exhaust is louder, the exhaust gasket has passed. These are all normal wear phenomena, which also occur with other manufacturers. Accessories end silencers are unnecessary because the bike already sounds phenomenal in the original.
A Shiver with ABS is preferred, but this should blow your budget.
Have informed me again and the Shiver is now in close selection 😊
What does it look like when buying? What about ABS in this model?
What would you say until how much KM can you buy it still reasonable?
Thank you
I had a Shiver for 4.5 years and drove her over 40t km. No, she’s not more expensive than other brands.
If you don’t believe me, compare some common spare parts
I don’t like the headlight from the ER6n
Also, spare parts are not more expensive than Yamaha or similar. And the warnings?
An er6n could be suitable for you! Honda cb 500f. Sv650. Bmw f800r is already cheaply used! Does the z300 or cb 300 r
