Motorcycle misfiring?
Hello,
As I mentioned above, my motorcycle (Honda CB450S, 1987) misfires when idling and the choke is off. If I open the choke a bit, the misfires go away. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance.

Can two adults fit on the bike?
Good day I have now passed the difficult exam and now I want to buy a sumo. So far I have my eye on a Husqvarna 610, Aprilia SXV 550 and a KTM EXC 500. What are the advantages and disadvantages of these?
After I broke down on a cross bike, the Mega started running rough and misfiring. It had no power when accelerating, and it stalled at full throttle. No power when shifting into higher gears. It has a carburetor and is 4-stroke.
Hello everyone I'm considering getting a Yamaha WR 400F. However, I see that they're only available with a restricted engine. My question: Can I legally ride it open (I understand it has about 40 hp) in Switzerland? Since the bike is older, I thought it would be illegal, but I haven't found anything on the…
Hello I bought a new Kawasaki Ninja 650 today. The seller said not to go over 4000 rpm at the beginning. Just before 4000 the bike starts to bob slightly as if you were driving at low revs. Up to 350 km I should increase my speed from 4k to 6 to 7k
The mixture to be lean can have all possible reasons with such an old-timer. But if you didn’t work on the carburetor, it is of course not the “gasifier setting” or rather Voting.
Of course, one cannot know whether one of the many Owners has not been whipped around the carburettors. Wearing is also conceivable, although it is more likely from my experience to Fat Mixture results (rough accessory needle rubs the needle nozzle with time.) But the most likely candidate for weight loss is secondary air due to assembly faults at the periphery, including elbows.
Carburetor adjustment is too lean. You should see that at the picture of the spark plugs. They will probably be quite bright (white to light grey).
The choke ensures that the mixture is greased (to compensate for condensation losses in the cold engine). So you give more fuel, so that the mixture is no longer too lean.
