Motorcycle driving lesson 3?

Hello. I've already taken two lessons on the 125. It went well, as I can ride a motorcycle.

Tomorrow I'm getting on the Kawa Er6n, which weighs 205 kg. I'm 5'2", female, and I can generally get downhill quite well. It's just really heavy for me, and I'm worried I might not be able to hold it on over potholes, hills, etc.

I get along well with my Z650 at home, but it is also 25 kg lighter.

Now I wanted to ask if you have any tips on how to deal with the weight of the motorcycle?

Or maybe what I should avoid?

Thanks in advance if you have any tips 🙂

As has been written correctly here it is immensely important that you stand on the ground with your feet without tilting. For example, if one stands only with one leg on the traffic light or otherwise, the danger that the car is too inclined is relatively high. And if that’s the case, that thing’s on the side. With your body size, body weight and body power, you don’t change it.

❗Of course, no matter which motorcycle, if you notice that the car tilts and falls to the side – no matter why – then drop them. With all the others, the risk of injury increases and it goes quite safe in the pants.

Otherwise you will notice the weight if you do not drive necessarily. I’ve seen girls driving a Honda Goldwing. And the thing is, as we know, everything but a light weight. The key is always the handling. There are various possibilities I don’t want to anticipate if you have an hour tomorrow.

During the ride it doesn’t matter how hard a motorcycle is. Of course, the inherent weight changes the braking and acceleration properties, but in principle the physical laws apply:

Dropping or tilting of a two-wheeler is from a speed > approx. 5 Km/h physically not possible.

is important that you can safely balance them with both feet on the earth.

as soon as the wheels roll, the circulatory forces of the wheels stabilize the motorcycle, you don’t need to be afraid of hit holes or at the mountain as long as you don’t drive under speed.

However, I wonder how you get “clear” with your z650 at home without a licence, without having to ride their longer distances.
