Scooter won't start?

My scooter won't start anymore. When I turn on the ignition and then apply the brake, the display goes blank. The same thing happens with the electric starter.

The battery is only about three months old. When the scooter is off, I measure 12.5V at the battery. When I turn on the ignition, I only measure 10V. And when I apply the brake or electric starter, the voltage drops to 6V.

Does anyone have any idea where I can look for an error?

Try it again if you support your with another battery. Batteries can be broken, no matter how old they are and if it is a AGM battery, which time was completely empty, you should swap it because it will never reach the full capacity again, no matter how often and long you charge it.

Could also lie on the current generator, which should charge the battery, with running engine with 13,5-14,5V.

Just because a retired battery indicates 12.5V, it does not mean that it works, and since you have a voltage drop of over 50%, the neat scooter draws to power or the battery is in de Fritten 😜
