Motor rc car?
Hello, I have a 1:18 reely micro dune fighter, it has a 5000kv brushless motor inside, which has a lot of power, I think it's too much for a small car, you can hardly steer it, now I wanted to know if you think I can install the small motor in a 1:10 model and then it will have power, I have to say my 1:10 is really light, so do you think it would work with a 2s lipo, so that I can drive my 1:10 too, thanks in advance
I doubt that the 5kV motor is powered 🙂 Anyway, if it is built into another model, you can drive with it.
How do you mean the 5 Kv powered so you think it would go or not
5kV stands for 5000 volts. Available with about 1500 LiIo batteries in series or well 400 BLeiakkus cars.
Of course, he can drive a bigger car even if you bring the drivetrain in.
A motor for 5kV will not fit into a model car.
5000kv means 5000 revolutions per volt and minute
Because of your comment, I have geoogled. The (Pseudo) unit calls KV (big written). K probably represents 1000, based on the revolution, V represents Volt.
Hi!
I almost don’t think…
The engine has 5000kv, which makes it quite fast, but torque is usually too little.
If you put him in a 1:16, I would still fully understand it, but in a 1:10 I would build the ned.
You need a motor with more torque for the larger wheels, and with less kv
But try it out, you can’t break it.
Just be careful: if you build him, and you realize that he’s hard to do, and he’s getting warm quickly, you’ll get him out.
I have the micro dune fighter myself, and believe me: so much power the ned has, that seems just because it is so small and light.
But do you think the 1:10 would be fast or only drive 10 to 15 kmh
I think he won’t even move it. And if, then it will be absolutely subpowered, and it seems ned times 10kmh drive.
