Motherboard doesn't recognize CPU?

Good Morning,

Today I wanted to replace the thermal paste due to temperature problems.

Without much force I ripped the cooler and CPU off the socket 😬.

There are no hidden pins etc. visible on the CPU, but my mainboard no longer recognizes my CPU.

I think the slider is a bit stiff and difficult to move back and forth with the CPU inside. Is there a possibility that the motherboard socket has a slight movement and I can fix it myself?

CPU: Ryzen 5600x

MB: mpg 550 Gaming plus am4

Good Morning! It sounds like the socket or contacts could have been damaged when removing the CPU. carefully check the pins and the base. If the slide is crocheted, the base could be defective. Repair is difficult, usually only helps a new motherboard.

Photos from the CPU + socket would be helpful.

The fact that the CPU sticks to the cooler is quite possible.
