Mopeds ausborgen im Ausland (zB. Thailand, Spanien und Co.)?
Hallo!
Ich plane in der Zukunft im Ausland ein Moped auszuborgen.
Diese Frage geht nur an Leute, die selbst diese Erfahrungen schon mal gemacht haben. Bitte keine Antworten wie “das ist völlig unmoralisch ; das kostet viel geld wenn man einen unfall baut” oder sonstiges.
Mich würde einfach interessieren, wie streng das alles genommen wird.
Könnte ich mir theoretisch gesehen ganz einfach ein Moped in Thailand oder sonstigen (etwas “ärmeren”) Ländern ausborgen, ohne den Führerschein vorzeigen zu müssen? Den Führerschein habe ich selbstverständlich, jedoch nicht den internationalen.
Ich habe nämlich von einem Freund gehört, der in südamerika wohnt, dass man ganz einfach den Polizisten ein bisschen Geld gibt und schon lassen sie einen weiterfahren ohne Probleme.

In Thailand, you don’t need to submit a voucher if you want to rent a moped.
Outside the tourist centers, you will usually get through as a recognisable excavator in police checks, because the police usually don’t have a bell to communicate in English (and often cannot do that). In the tourist centers it can run differently and sometimes you will not get around a penalty or a bribe.
But it gets really blotted when you get involved in an accident without a fuehrerschein.

The international driving licence is just a document. You can ask for it, have to wait a few weeks and then have it. There’s no need to test it or something.
And within Europe your normal appearance is enough. Simply show and rent. Why would that be immoral? Do you even know what immoral means? Is now nix different than a rental car, just stop a motorcycle. Doing millions of people daily
Thank you for the trouble, but my question has not been answered. Yeah, I know what a morale is. However, I am not 18 years old, but 17. With 17 years you can already have a driving licence in Austria and drive alone, but only in your own country (and a few others with exception)
